Children’s Sunday School

When and Where?

We meet on Sunday mornings, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., in three different classrooms:

Pre-K and Kindergarten  West Building, W-4
Grades 1-2 West Building, W-5
Grades 3-5 A&E Building, AE 206

We also have special programs and events throughout the year, including Children’s Leadership Sunday, which is on October 22, 2017.

What Will My Child Learn?

What if Jesus could be your children’s Sunday school teacher? How would he teach?

Regularly, Jesus would use creative objects—like sheep, coins, or fish—in order to connect eternal truths to everyday life. This is the same philosophy embedded in the DNA of the Hands-On Bible curriculum.

Each lesson uses one or more “gizmos”—fun, interesting objects that help to engage children’s senses and minds. These objects help children play an active role in each week’s lesson, and make lessons both fun and memorable!

Over the course of Pre-K through fifth grade, we will study stories from both the Old and New Testaments. To get an idea of the stories we’re looking at during the 2017-18 academic year, check out the Hands-On Bible scope and sequence.
