The Rockslinger and His Greatest Hit
2008 Musical
The Children's Music Ministry at Hope provides each child
an opportunity to make music in praise to God. Using all the
elements of the arts, children learn to use their senses and
emotions to express their faith. They work together as an ensemble
to build self-confidence and a sense of belonging. These experiences
foster musical and spiritual growth as the children discover
and develop skills that can be used in the service of our Lord.
There are three children's choirs at Hope:
- PreSchool PraisePals for ages 3, 4 and 5
rehearses on Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
- Joy Choir for Kindergarten - Grade 2
rehearses on Wednesdays, 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
- Jubilation Choir for Grades 3 - 5
rehearses on Wednesdays, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
All children's choirs rehearse in Room W3 of the West Building.
The choirs sing at worship services throughout the year,
and the Joy and Jubilation Choirs participate in special
worship services, including Children's Sunday and the
Family Advent Celebration. The Joy and Jubilation Choirs
also present a musical each spring.
Participation in Children's Choirs is open to any
family who would like for their child to experience the
joy of making music with other children. It's great fun!
Come join us!
Children whose families come to Wednesday
