  •   Help new members meet others and learn about the family of Hope in a casual atmosphere.

The Fellowship Commission provides fellowship opportunities throughout the year and coordinates other adult fellowship groups within Hope Church.   All activities sponsored by the Fellowship Commission are open to all who worship at Hope Church.

Fellowship Opportunities include:  Regular Sunday coffee between services, First Sunday “Coffee in the Courtyard”, Rally Day/Activity Fair, Receptions for new and retired staff, Receptions for outgoing officers and pastor intern,  Annual Meeting Luncheon, Golden Circle Reception,  All Church Retreat, Special Theme Nights, Wednesday Night Suppers, Scrabblers, Bridge of Hope, Piecemakers, and Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service Reception as requested   These provide ways to meet new faces, make friends, and participate in fun activities throughout the year.

Lunch Bunch: Coordinator Marilyn Scott.   Single senior adults of both genders meet at noon on Wednesdays in the foyer near the church office for conversation and lunch at a local restaurant.   Folks may car pool.

Bridge of Hope: Coordinator Olivia Heiman.   Meet the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at 1 PM in the MPR.  Those wishing to play must notify Olivia by Wednesday of the week Bridge meets.   There is a $2.00 fee.

Scrabblers:  Coordinator Marilyn Scott  Meet for a Pot Luck lunch followed by a game of scrabble in the Fellowship Hall after the late service on the third Sunday of every month.  Call Marilyn if you plant to attend.

Piecemakers:   Coordinator Beverly Duffee. Meet each Tuesday morning in the MPR.  Each person brings a sewing machine.  They do creative projects and mending.   Recent projects include quilts, paramonts for the Advent wreath, youth choir robes and stoles; repairing handbell table covers; and providing an annual fresh herb advent wreath.

Wednesday Night Suppers:  Coordinator Mary Kuenstler.  Teams of Cooks and Servers furnish buffet style homecooked meals for Hope members and visitors beginning in August through the first Wednesday in May.   The cost is $4 for adults and $for children and youth ages 5-12 years old.   Children under 5 eat free.   Call Mary to join the team of Cooks and Servers.

Scrapbooking Groups: Hope has two scrapbooking (or other paper crafts) groups. Preserving Memories meets on the first and third Fridays from 10am-4pm. Men of Hope:  All men are invited to participate in the Men of Hope for fun, fellowship, and inspiration.

Did you know that every man at Hope already belongs to the Men of Hope? We average around 40 men at our casual monthly breakfast meetings, and we’d like to have you attend the next meeting on the first Saturday of the month at 8AM in the  Multipurpose Room. Call Bob Good to RSVP.

Women of Hope: Women of Hope is a vibrant and dynamic organization of women at Hope Church who look to God for satisfaction and fulfillment while enjoying fellowship and participating in service for those in need.
