WOH invites and welcomes all
church members and visitors to take part in the events and service projects.
Women of Hope is a vibrant
and dynamic organization of women at Hope Church who look to God for
satisfaction and fulfillment while enjoying fellowship and participating in
service for those in need. The Women of
Hope gather the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the
Fellowship Hall.
Women of Hope organize the
circles and other women’s events such as Fall Gathering, A Cup of
Christmas Tea, Inspiration Day, Women’s Leadership Sunday, and several
service projects. The service
projects include Hope for the Holidays Bizaar and
Quilt Raffle, Fast Food Frenzy, Curtains & Colors Project in conjunction
with Habitat for Humanity, and Christmas Cookie sales.
The proceeds may be distributed among several organizations which
include but are not limited to Manos De Christos, Austin Children’s
Shelter, and Presbyterian Children’s Home.
Women's
Fellowship Circles
The Tuesday Circle meets on the first Tuesday of the month in home. Contact
Darlene Schild thru the church office at 258-9117 for directions. All women, members and
visitors alike are welcome!
The Ruth Circle (a.k.a. the Saturday
Morning Circle) meets the second Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room.
We are a casual group of gals who enjoy one Saturday morning a month to
nurture our faith and friendships. This month, we'll plan our calendar and
our faith nurturing focus. Circle contacts are Joy FitzGerald and Nancy
rightmyer through the church office at 258-9117.
