Children and Worship

As members of the body of Christ, children of all ages are always welcomed and encouraged to attend worship with their families. Childcare is available for children ages 0-3 during worship for parents who would like to use it. The Hope Room in the narthex (the “lobby” area outside the sanctuary) is also available as a cry room to soothe a fussy baby, or to let a restless toddler roam. Worship packets are available in the narthex with activities to help children focus on the Scripture for the day. Children’s Bibles and other resources are also available there—you can find them on a bookshelf under the TV on your right as you enter the narthex. Please return all non-paper items after worship!

Childrens_SermonA Children’s Sermon is offered near the beginning of the worship service. Children’s Worship is available for ages four through grade one in the West Building following the Children’s Sermon for the remainder of the 11:00 a.m. service. After the service, please pick up your child promptly from room W-3.

Care for younger children (ages 0-3) is provided in the Nursery area located in room FC-5 in the Fellowship Center. In order to ensure children are cared for in the best way possible, we give parents pagers in order to contact them should a need arise during worship. Please pick up your child from the nursery within a few minutes after worship.
