Come Home to Hope

All are welcome at Hope! Join us as we celebrate this joyous season.

Family Advent Celebration — December 4
Hope Music Ministry has some gifts for you! Our children and youth, ages 3-18, give you an evening of song, dance, comedy, and fun. Your gifts will include hope, peace, joy, love, music, memories, and laughter. It all takes place in Fellowship Hall. Bring your family and friends to this wonderful event, then stay for a Taco Bar and desserts!

Breakfast with Santa — December 10
Please join us in our Fellowship Hall for a homemade pancake breakfast, holiday crafts for the kids, viewing of a Polar Express model railroad layout, and a visit from Santa himself! Bring your own camera.

Festival of Carols — December 18
Our Adult Choir and Unity Singers combine to present a beautiful service of lessons and carols accompanied by orchestra – and you get to sing along! Join us at the 10:00 a.m. worship service for Hope’s 23rd annual Festival of Carols!

Blue Christmas Service — December 21
The Christmas season is a time for families to gather and for churches to worship, pointing to the hope that is found in the coming of the Christ Child. This time of joy and expectation is often overshadowed by pain and hurt. You may wonder how you will get through the holidays, grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with illness, or experiencing job challenges. Join us for a service of hope and comfort to help us through this holiday season.

Christmas Eve Candlelight — December 24
On Christmas Eve, two Candlelight Communion Services are offered at Hope.

The 5:00 p.m. service is designed for families, with a message especially for young children and the young at heart. During the reading of the Christmas story, children are invited to come forward dressed as one of the characters. Costumes for Mary, Joseph, shepherds, wise men and wise women, and, of course, lots of angels, will be provided in the Narthex. Music is provided by the Unity Singers.

The 8:00 p.m. service features music by the Glory Bells and Adult Choir, with the singing of beloved carols, a Christmas message, and Holy Communion. Both services close with the singing of “Silent Night” as candles are lit in the beauty of the darkened sanctuary. Whichever service you choose, you and your loved ones will be richly blessed with the songs and spirit of Christmas in your heart!

Christmas Day
Worship the Newborn King at our 10:00 a.m. worship service. There will not be Christian Education nor childcare.
