Mission Groups

Is God calling you into acts of service? Would you like to foster relationships with like-minded Christians centered around compassion, education, fellowship, mission, or worship?

Hope Presbyterian strives to build a vital church model centered around Mission Groups. A Mission Group is comprised of a minimum of three active members from HPC who have a common interest, desire, and/or calling to express their love of God and neighbor through their pursuit of that interest/calling. Mission Groups are public and actively seek to include.

Mission Groups have three active members serving in coequal leadership roles. The Convener, Publicist, and Shepherd are key to the functioning of Mission Groups.

Mission Groups must actively seek to engage others in the congregation who feel a similar interest, need, or calling to join them.

Mission Groups align with the mission and vision of Hope Presbyterian Church as a Matthew 25 congregation.

Mission Groups may be large or small, engaged in service to the congregation or the world, and may be formed around any perceived need.

Mission Group members should feel loved, supported, trusted, and accountable to one another.

Mission Groups allow members to pursue a calling, engage God and a group of like-minded and spirited Christians, and make a difference in the congregation and the world.
